WHO THIS IS FOR
You might be ready for an intensive if…
Professionals & Executives
You are high-achieving and high-performing, but carrying burdens that are starting to cost you. You need focused work that fits around your life, not the other way around.
Specific Phobias
You have struggled with flying, medical procedures, driving, heights, vomit, or other phobias. Phobias respond exceptionally well to intensive EMDR. Many clients report significant or complete resolution in a single session.
Stuck in Weekly Therapy
You're doing the work, but the trauma isn't moving. An intensive can break through what weekly sessions can't reach — without leaving your therapist behind.
Racial & Identity Based Trauma
The chronic weight of racial stress, microaggressions, and systemic harm deserves a clinician with deep competency and genuine understanding — not just awareness.
Perinatal & Birth Trauma
You or your partner have navigated birth related trauma, IVF grief, pregnancy loss, the identity rupture of new parenthood. ShaQuan holds perinatal mental health certification & understands the complexity of this chapter.
Burnout
Professional Burnout, Parental Burnout, Creative Burnout. Not just tired. Depleted at a cellular level. This isn't a vacation fix — it's targeted processing of the nervous system patterns underneath the burnout.

FAQs
Don't see your question here I'd be glad to discuss it with you during the consultation.
Is this right for me? How do I know which package to choose?
The free 15-minute consultation is specifically designed to help you answer this question. We'll discuss what you're carrying, what you've already tried, and which format makes the most clinical sense for where you are right now. You don't need to come in knowing the answer.
+
Are sessions available in person, virtually, or both?
Both. Intensives are available in person in Westborough, Massachusetts and fully virtually to clients in Massachusetts & VermontVirtual sessions are just as clinically effective — you just need a private space and a stable internet connection.
+
Do you accept insurance?
Intensive sessions are self-pay. Most insurance plans cover a maximum of 60 minutes per session, so multi-hour intensives are not covered in full.
Payment plans are available for packages of $1,800 or more.
+
What if I'm already in therapy?
The Bridge package is specifically designed for clients already in therapy. With your permission, ShaQuan can coordinate with your primary therapist to ensure the intensive supports and enhances your ongoing treatment - not disrupts it.
+
What can I expect after an intensive?
Everyone's experience is different. It's common to feel tired for a day or two. Many clients report feeling more grounded, less reactive to triggers, and a meaningful shift in how they show up — at work, at home, and within themselves. Integration time and a follow-up session are built into every package.
+
How many sessions will I need?
It depends. Specific phobias and single-events often resolve in one 1 - 2 sessions. Attachment-based or complex trauma typically requires 2–4 sessions. The scope will be discussed at your consultation and confirmed at intake — there is no pressure to book more than you need.
+
How do I prepare for an intensive?
Treat the days around your session like a personal retreat. Your personalized workbook (included in every package) will walk you through preparation steps. Key guidelines: arrange your schedule so you have no major obligations for 24–48 hours after the session, ensure a private space with stable internet for virtual sessions.
+
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Booking an intensive is a commitment for both of us. A non-refundable deposit is required to hold your date, as preparation begins the moment you book. You may reschedule once at no charge with 14 or more days' notice. Cancellations within 14 days forfeit the deposit in full.
